This is the reminder for our next Connecting the Community on Tuesday, January 24th, 9 to 11 am at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts.
The weather forecast for the day is better than we've seen so far for a Tuesday morning this year!
If you are inviting someone please have them email me.
And I'll ask you to consider getting your coffee from Byron at the Theatre, and please have a donation for Hill House Hospice (suggested minimum is $3).
Also, there will be a collection of items for the Out of the Cold program which is starting up at St. Mary's Anglican Church. Peter Dennis is a volunteer there and has agreed to do a collection of needed items, which include:
New or gently used:
• Warm hats, gloves and scarves
• Winter boots
• Winter coats and jackets
• Warm sweaters and pants
• Waterproof sleeping bags
• Paperback novels
• Underwear, long and short
• Toiletries: soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouth¬wash, washcloths, shampoo, dry skin lotion, lip balm, combs
Peter Dennis will be collecting your contributions at the next three Connecting the Community meetings, Jan. 24th, Jan. 31st and Feb. 7th. Please bring your contributions in bags that can be easily carried.
I hope you have a good weekend. There are a few things happening in Town that you may wish to check out. www.onrichmondhill.com
