Top of the mornin' to you!
Yes, it's almost St. Patrick's Day. It actually is this lucky day when we meet next Tuesday. Let's all wear something green! ♣
Please bring business cards and promotional materials.
If there is something I should include in my introduction of you please hand me a note before we begin.
As well as wearing green, Connecting the Community attendees are collecting things that will help others.
- Ira Wolfe, in his involvement with the Lions Club, is collecting prescription eye wear. They will be cleaned up and categorized, then someone, whether in Canada or somewhere else in the world. will get them for free.
- Dawn Bender is collecting milk bags - the outside bag, not the bag that milk is actually in; t her children's school sends these to people who crochet them into bed mats. Dawn is also collecting bras to send to ladies in need in the Congo.
Have you marked your calendars for May 5th? It is the theatre outing and silent auction to support Connecting the Community's Heart & Stroke Foundation's Big Bike on June 18th. We have a great team in place. The show is the Cirque Mechanic. Discounted tickets are available.
Please note that sales are only in person at the box office or by phone 905-787-8811. Use promo code CTCCIRQ. These are for seats in the balcony only.
We are needing silent auction prizes - proceeds to our Big Bike event! More to come. See our team at www.bigbike.ca - click on 'Find a Team' - we're Connecting the Community!!
I hope you have a enjoyable weekend. And I wish all of those with school age children to have some fun times next week.
