Spring arrived this week!! Yeah!!
The spring flowers are not yet sprouting but the activities that we are all involved with certainly are!
If there is something new that you are doing please let me know.
If you invite someone to Connecting the Community, please have them email me.
Yes, we are meeting the same time, same place - Tuesday, March 28th, 9 to 11.
We will be celebrating March Birthdays. The sponsors of our treats are Christine Carrington and Sherry Bennett.
I want to make sure that you know that Connecting the Community has a Heart and Stroke Big Bike Team and to help us raise funds we've put together a great event at the Plaza Suite at the Theatre on April 18th. Please try to attend.
Click here to register. (To maximize the amount of money raised the $15 ticket price will be collected in person.)
I had the pleasure, along with Shishir Lakhani, of being on Roger's Daytime on Monday to promote this event. Click here to see our TV appearance
We will be 'exploring the community' this Thursday (March 30th) for lunch. I expect that you have heard about this attempt to local attempt to break the Guinness World Record for Longest Concert by Multiple Artists. Click here to see the TO Star article. An active CTC member, Mark Pezzalato, is a principle organizer of the bands. So, if you'd like to be a part of this on Thursday, when Mark is performing, just come. (Please email me so I have a sense of how many will be at our table(s) ). The plan is to be there at noon. Here's the location www.earlpub.ca
Another active member of Connecting the Community, Hugh Adams, is collecting women's personal hygiene items. Please click here for their poster. Just bring them to Tuesday's meeting.
I hope you have a good weekend. Click here for the list of what's happening in Town this weekend.
