I wanted to make sure that you knew that the new season for the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts starts in a couple of weeks.

It's the Theatre's 7th full season!  And it focuses on Canadian performances, acknowledging our sesquicentennial.

To start the season on October 13th Richmond Hill's Jackie Richardson performs with 2 other local musicians.

Shows just until the end of the year are:

Burton Cummings is performing October 21st.  It's already sold out!

The Suite Thursdays are happening again.  These are "up close and personal performances" in the Plaza Suites.

New this year are 4 OnStage performances - yes, the audience is on the stage.

These are the performances that RHCPA has booked.  When you buy tickets these ones are in red.

There are a number of "Community Partners" that perform at the Theatre.

And new this year is the York Region Chamber Music

Many of the cultural groups have booked the Theatre to bring together their communities and present their shows to their neighbours.

The children are not left out.  Carrie Libling, Education Coordinator, is pleased that the educators, parents and kids have been happy to come.  The Education Series is very popular.

As well as encouraging you to buy tickets I'd recommend that you get a membership - ticket discounts, special offers, exclusive events, free coat check.....

If you have a business you may want to consider advertising options.  Eli Lukawitz, Marketing Manager, will help you reach your target audience.

It doesn't make sense not to sign up for the Theatre's email newsletter "Behind the Curtain E-news" - special offers, new things happening at the Theatre....  Sign up is on the top of the home page.

I do hope to see you at the Theatre soon! I will be away for the October 13th Season Opening Frown

I am looking forward the October 4th CBC's The Debater's.  I am glad I ordered tickets back in June -  it's now sold out. So, I definitely encourage you not to wait to order tickets for the shows you'd like to see.'s Connecting the Community will be having again this year their Wingfield Night on November 29th. We're up in the balcony, with a pre-show reception and a great silent auction. It's a fundraiser for Hill House Hospice.  We've got group discount tickets.  Email me if you're interested in joining us -
