This is your weekly reminder/invitation to connect with others who are active in our community. 

Since this will be the last gathering of the year, it is a chance to wish each other Merry Christmas/Happy Chanukah/Happy Holidays/Happy New Year!

George St. Kitts has agreed to sing us a song or two to help us with our well wishes.

I would like to have as part of our gathering, some recognition of those in our community who may need to turn to the food bank. But rather than giving food, as many are thankfully doing, I would like us to bring a bar of soap.  If someone does not have money for food they are likely not able to buy personal hygiene products.  This gesture is a way for us to think about the state of those struggling to make ends meet. The small bars from hotels are very appropriate.
