Your Regal Heights Village BIA is developing a shop local campaign with funds provided by the City of Toronto.

The campaign will consist of postcards, posters, website and other elements designed to educate local residents on the ecological and economic benefits of shopping local. The campaign will also include a contest with a grand prize of a $500 local shopping spree.

The visual theme of the campaign will be footprints as we want to encourage local residents to walk and shop (and dine) instead of getting in their car and driving to some far off shopping mall.

The plan is to have a series of efforts, the first being focused on the construction period.

For this we are planning a group photo of all the merchants to be taken in the middle of St Clair where the tracks are being stored.

So please join us on Thursday August 7 at 9:30 am sharp at Lauder Ave. You will receive a yellow construction helmet to use for the photo. Everyone is welcome. The more the merrier.
