Discussion of the proposed 73-79 Keewatin/88 Erskine eight-storey apartment building at North York Community Council (in our most recent flyer at ) has been scheduled for 10:30 am this coming Tuesday, May 15th at the Council Chamber, North York Civic Centre, lower level, 5100 Yonge St.

Members of the SPRA Board will be deputing and we're asking for as many residents as possible to be in the audience to show silent support for Councillor Robinson and the motions she will make in opposition to the project.

If you wish to make a presentation, please phone 416-395-0480 (the City Clerk's office) or e-mail by noon, May 14th. Presentations are limited to no longer than five minutes.

The City of Toronto encourages everyone to take part in the decision-making process at the City. You can participate in this meeting of the North York Community Council by:

• attending the meeting to hear the community council discuss a particular item;

• commenting on a particular item in writing; or

• making a presentation to the community council about a particular item.

Attending the meeting:

Attend the meeting to hear the community council discuss the item. However, as the community council discusses other items on its agenda, it may not be able to consider this particular item until later than the time scheduled.

The City of Toronto Act, 2006 and the City of Toronto Municipal Code authorize the City of Toronto to collect any personal information in your communication or presentation to City Council or its committees.

The City collects this information to enable it to make informed decisions on the relevant issue(s). If you are submitting letters, faxes, e-mails, presentations or other communications to the City, you should be aware that your name and the fact that you communicated with the City will become part of the public record and will appear on the City’s website. The City will also make your communication and any personal information in it – such as your postal address, telephone number or e-mail address – available to the public, unless you expressly request the City to remove it.

The City videotapes committee and community council meetings. If you make a presentation to a committee or community council, the City will be videotaping you and City staff may make the video tapes available to the public.
