Hi everyone,

Important: The workshop will be at the Northern District Library, 40 Orchard View Blvd., not at the Anne Johnston Health Station as I wrote previously. You can also RSVP, if you wish, at http://midtowninfocus.com/events/

I would like to draw your attention to a marvellous opportunity for all of you to contribute with your vision and ideas to the future of the Midtown area – from Eglinton Park over to Northern Secondary School and from Eglinton Avenue up to Keewatin Avenue.

On Thursday, 26th September from 6:30-9:00pm at the Northern District Library, 40 Orchard View Blvd., planners contracted by the the City's Midtown Planning Group (Councillors Matlow, Robinson and Stintz) will be asking you to share, discuss and explore ideas in a hands-on workshop.

Here is where you will be able to voice your suggestions on

  • Eglinton Park

  • Streets, squares and lanes

  • Green links and ravine connections

The session promises to be well organized, lively and will go very fast. I hope to see as many of you as possible there!

The planners will also facilitate two walks with insights into the pedestrian environment:

Night walk: Wed Sept 25th, 7:30-9:00pm starts at The Art Shoppe (Soudan & Yonge)

Day walk: Sat Sept 28th, 10:00-11:30am starts at Northern District Library front entrance.
