Your flyer is in the mail! Keep a lookout for your ARTWALK flyer being distributed now. You'll find it inside the latest issue of St. Clair Avenue magazine. If you live between Eglinton and Dupont and Keele and Bathurst, Canada Post should be dropping one off over the next couple of days. You can pull out the centre section and get an advance look at the festival map and read about this year's festival as well. Complete programs will be available at Event Central locations on festival weekend and before then at several business location on St. Clair. Only two weeks to go! Excitement is building for the biggest and best ARTWALK festival yet - Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27. More than 90 artists are taking part in a combination of Studio Tour, Outdoor Art Market, Businesses Become Galleries, Emerging Artists Exibit and a festival preview show at the Artscape Wychwood Barns gallery. Our Literary Arts evening happens on Sunday at Ellington's Music and Café and there's music at Mezzetta on Friday evening and at Bavia Arts from Friday to Sunday. And don't miss our Main Stage that this year will be entertaining in the Wychwood Barns Park. The Wychwood Heights BIA is also hosting music and fun activities in the Green P parking lot at St. Clair West and Pinewood and some of their businesses will be having sidewalk sales.
Something for the kids This year's ARTWALK includes the Urban Fare Children's Festival at the Artscape Wychwood Barns. There will be all sorts of interesting things for them to do including crafts, painting, storytelling and more. We can keep them busy for hours!
Mark September 26-27 on your calendar and make a whole weekend of the festival. Tell your friends and neighbours too.
