Mark your calendars now! The 6th Toronto Photography Marathon - Summer 2008 Edition, will start on Saturday, July 5th to Sunday July 6th, noon to noon. The Gladstone Hotel will
host the exhibition evening on Saturday July 19th, 2008.  Stay tuned
for further details!

We are presently looking for committed volunteers to make the marathon
run smoothly. As you all know we are a not-for-profit, volunteer run
organization and we depend on your support and involvement to keep this
wonderfull event happening. Bellow are the volunteer task available, as
a gift of appreciation you will receive free entry to our Exhibit Evening.


    June 15th – 29th:
a. Poster for marathon – 4-6 volunteers – 2-3 hours each
            Walk around and put postcards in key spots of the city

    July 5th, 6th:
b. Saturday greeting table at start of marathon – 2 Volunteers – 2hrs
            Sign in marathoners and assign films
c. Sunday greeting table at marathon finish – 2 volunteers – 2hrs
            Receive exposed films and give feedback forms
   
    July 12th – 17th:
d. Sort pictures into themes – 8 volunteers – 2-3hrs.
        (non-marathoners only) work in pairs, times to be arranged
e. Poster for Exhibition night – 4 Volunteers – 2-3hrs
        Walk around and postcards in key spots of the city   

    Saturday, July 19th:
f. Exhibition Set Up – 11am-3pm – 8 volunteers – 2-4 hours ea.
            Organize room, put up the pictures, and decorate
g. Door people 6pm-10:30pm – 4 volunteers – 2 hours shifts
            Work in pairs, stamp, collect cover fee, etc…
           MUST BE HONNEST AND GOOD DEALING WITH MONEY
h. Vote counting – 4 volunteers – 1-2 hrs during the evening
            Help with input and counting votes
i. Take Down – (11pm) – 8 volunteers – aprox. 1.5 hrs
            Work in pairs; take down and clean up the event.
