Toronto: The dates for the 6th Toronto Photography Marathon - Summer 2008 Edition, were announced today.

The Marathon itself will be held the weekend of Saturday July 5 at noon to noon on Sunday July 6, 2008 starting and ending at Christie Pits (Bloor and Christie) at the pavillion .

The Exhibit Evening will be at the Gladstone Hotel's 2nd Floor on Saturday July 19th, 2008.

24 hours - 12 themes - 1 Creative Challenge

The Toronto Photography Marathon is a creative challenge held every third season. Marathoners are provided with a 12 exposure roll of film and a card with 12 themes. They then have 24 hours to take one photo of each theme - in sequence! The photographs are then displayed at the Exhibit Evening where photographers and friends gather to vote on their choice for the best photograph for each theme, with live music and performances to add to the creative flair of the evening.

The event is again being sponsored by Just Cameras, Fuji Film and NaberNet.

Registrations will begin May 15th online at the Marathon website - www.TorontoPhotoMarathon.com.
