Dear marathoners, volunteers and supporters of the Toronto Photography Marathon,
I'm delighted to inform you all that I'm back in town. After having gone through many life changing, adventurous experience in lands far away... I hope to be able to share them with you at some point or another. Also I'm very happy to announce the return of our co-founder, an inspiring individual, Everton Souza. He will be with us from now on!
Before I get into a rant, let us focus on the real issue of this news letter...
First thing is first, I would like to extend a warm belated thank you to Tony Bolla and everyone that got involved last year in putting together the 7th Toronto Photography Marathon in my absence. I have received feedback from some of you, and trust that is was a great one! Thank you Tony. I should also thank Nabernet as they have been providing us with our Internet communications technology since 2005. A special thanks also goes out to Just Cameras and Fuji Film for their support!
Secondly, TPM is announcing a slight change in the frequency of our marathons... Instead of having it run every third season (9 months apart) we have revised and decided on changing it into every year and a quarter, or every fifth season... This way there will be more time to plan and grow the organization... The good news is that you can look forward to the 8th edition of the Toronto Photography Marathon in early August 2010. In two months, get ready for the dazzling hot, energetic, creative challenge, THIRD SUMMER edition of TPM since its inception in 2004!

The latter half of this newsletter concerns it self with the big picture and future of TPM... I'm looking for anybody that has any knowledge and/or experience relevant in incorporating a not-for-profit organization. We will begin to work on this in September 2010.
